Joan Didion must represent the peak of literary success, seeing as she has not one, but two fake accounts in her name. According to one of the bios, the tweets are inspired by Joan and edited by unnamed male members of the internet literary scene.

Keep your eyes peeled for that essay on ice dancing as a metaphor for capitalism in a post-Lehman Brothers world. I know I will.
