PRISM international is now accepting online submissions!
But wait, didn’t PRISM accept online submissions before?
We did accept online submissions for our contests this past winter. During this time, we experienced a very successful trial run of the Submittable submission manager platform. We at PRISM international were so impressed that we have decided to accept any and all submissions through Submittable.
Why did PRISM decide to accept online submissions?
In short, we wanted to give our submitters and contributors another way to submit.
Does PRISM still accept snail mail submissions?
Absolutely! The move to Submittable is not about giving our submitters fewer choices; it’s about giving them more choices!
Where can I find out more information about submitting to PRISM?
You can find our full submission guidelines here.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Your submission guidelines say that it costs $3 to submit a manuscript online. What’s THAT about?
Online submissions are all about convenience. Convenience for you. For us, on the other hand, it involves a little more work and a little more cost. Increased costs include printing, postage, and labour.
By charging a small fee—which, in most cases, is no more than the amount a submitter would have spent on paper, ink, an envelope, and postage—we can recoup those costs. Any small amount that may (or may not) be left over after our expenses will go to supporting PRISM’s printing costs. Something you can feel good about!
What if I don’t want to spend the $3?
No problem! You can still submit by mail for free. Mailed submissions will always be free at PRISM. That’s our guarantee!
