2013 is coming to a close and the festive season is very much upon us! The PRISM international team bids you adieu… but only until 2014!
We’ll be back in January with a ton of new and exciting content on the blog. For example, you can look forward to an interview with Tessa Mellas, whose debut collection of stories charmed our reviewer Jennifer Lori. You’ll also get the chance to read original reviews of Finding Grace by Mary-Lynn Murphy and Life Is About Losing Everything by Lynn Crosbie, as well more great reviews and interviews with authors both established and emerging.
In the meantime, remember that PRISM and its devoted team of editors and readers never rests! The judging process for this year’s Creative Non-Fiction contest is currently underway, and the results will be out mid-January—stay tuned for the announcement right here!
Missed our submission deadline for the Non-Fiction Contest? Have an awesome piece of short fiction under 6,000 words? Remember that submissions for this year’s Fiction Contest is open for another month—you have until January 23rd, 2014 to submit your stories, so get writing! This year’s judge is one of the Canadian literary firmament’s brightest stars: Joseph Boyden, whose most recent novel The Orenda is one of 2013’s most popular books.
And remember, PRISM accepts regular submissions throughout the year by mail or through our submission manager. You’ll find the full submission guidelines here.
