Our shortest-form contest is now open for submissions until May 1st!

The Grouse Grind Lit Prize for V. Short Forms is judged by PRISM’s editorial board. We’re ready to sink our teeth into your flash fiction, micro-memoir, poetic hybrids and everything in between of 300 words or less. Anything goes—as long as it’s short!

PRIZES: First place $500
First Runner-Up $150
Second Runner-Up $50
ENTRY FEE: $15

PS—We offer free entries for all self-identifying Black and Indigenous writers! We also offer a limited number of free entries to low-income writers on a first-come basis. As always, we encourage submissions from writers of colour, writers with disabilities, LGBTQQIA writers, and writers from other intersectional and marginalized groups.
