Executive Editor, Promotions – Ali Rae

Ali Rae (she/her) is a bipolar queer who writes short stories, essays, and poems. A sometimes nurse, she is currently working on her MFA at UBC while living on the unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən, Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. She tries to mash together the sinister and comedic, plays the accordion poorly once a month, cuddles her dog on the porch in the sun, drinks too much coffee, and tries not to spiral.

Reviews Editor – Eleanor Panno

Eleanor (she/her) is a queer, non-binary writer and editor. She writes fiction, lyrics, and comics with a focus on grey areas between reality and perception. She also loves horror movies—send her your recommendations.

Poetry Editor – Emily Chou

Emily Chou (rhymes with “wow”; she/her) is a writer-cartoonist who, after stints in the UK, Japan, and Italy, currently finds herself back in so-called “Vancouver”. Her work has appeared in RoomSad MagazineChinatown TodayVallum, and In/Words as well as various other collections, anthologies, and projects. When she’s not shackled to her email, she can be found fostering dogs for local rescues, eating snacks, and dreaming of future adventures abroad.

Managing Editor – Emma Cleary

Emma Cleary is a creative-critical writer from Liverpool, UK. She holds a PhD in literature and is completing her MFA in creative writing at the University of British Columbia. Emma’s short fiction can be found in Lighthouse Literary Journal, Shooter Literary Magazine, and Best British Short Stories; her essays have appeared in James Baldwin Review and Canadian Literature. She’s currently working on a horror novel about sisters, monsters, and art.

Prose Editor – Vivian (Xiao Wen) Li

Vivian Li is the Prose Editor at PRISM international, and aside from writing and reading, enjoys exploring other artistic disciplines, including singing, composition, art, and acting. Her works are forthcoming or published in Uncanny Magazine, CV2, and Quill & Quire, among others. She was Longlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and received Honorable Mentions from Muriel’s Journey Poetry Prize. A MFA candidate at UBC, she can be reached on Twitter @eliktherain.

Thank you for trusting us with your work!
