Spooky season is here—and so is the latest issue! The poetry and prose in 58.1 FIGURES show us shapes that manifest, charm, defy, and arouse. You heard that right! As written by editors Molly Cross-Blanchard and Emma Cleary, “We asked work to animate the inanimate, to give us secrets, shadows, and ghosts. Spoiler alert: we found it!”
This issue also features the three winners of the Grouse Grind Lit Prize for V. Short Forms and line drawings by Danielle Friesen. The cover image, “Time Lapse. TriBeCa,” comes from Xan Padrón‘s Time Lapse project.
This issue’s fine contributors are: Anne Stone, Wayde Compton, John Elizabeth Stintzi, Dessa Bayrock, Nicole Melanson, Hannah Green, Stefani Nellen, Tanis Franco, Traci Skuce, Maggie Burton, Graeme Bezanson, Charity E. Yoro, Catherine Seton, Liz Harmer, Hege A. Jakobsen Lepri, Geoff Anderson, Jonathan Glenn Travelstead, Jennie Chantal Duguay, Amanda Merpaw, Alysa Hullett, lue boileau, Jacob M. Appel, and Senaa Ahmad.
