Home > PRISM Online > Summer Writing Prompt: Week 2

Did you wake up under the plush derriere of your cat? How about tangled under the syrupy arms of your lover? Did you spend the night, toe-to-chin, chin-to-toe, with a friend-of-a-friend on a sunken pullout sofa in the living room of another friend’s? How did the lamp light sit on their cheeks? Why didn’t they hold you? Why were their hands clammy? What was the last thing they said before floating off? Who do they love? What is their last name? Why do they act the way they do? Where are they from? Who do they admire? What do they wish they were like? Where are they the most comfortable? What do they hate? Why did they sleep with their makeup on? Where are their socks?

WRITE IT OUT.
